Book excerpt: The key question concerning the book of Revelation is "when was the book written?" If Ken Gentry is correct and the date is prior to 70AD then virtually all other prophecy pundits are wrong. This is why they won't address Ken's monumental work. Before Jerusalem Fell is a scholarly and thorough study of the dating of Revelation. This is a must-read for all serious students of prophecy regardless of their position.

Book excerpt: A Commentary on the Book of Revelation - Volume 2 The author presents a detailed study of the Book of Revelation emphasizing prophetic themes from the rest of the Bible which find their fulfillment in Revelation. To understand this controversial book, the author explores the many connections between the visions seen by the Apostle John and previous prophetic revelation given to Old Testament prophets such as Daniel, Ezekiel, and others. It is the author's conviction that an understanding of related passages elsewhere in the Bible is the most important key to unlocking the bewildering variety of interpretations which often accompany the study of the last book of the Bible. The commentary is linked to a free companion internet course providing an additional 70 hours of audio instruction linked to almost 1,000 slides.

When will the Tribulation occur, and who will face it? There is a lot of discussion among Christians about the rapture and the last days. Why all the different views? Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A significant pillar of twentieth century dispensationalism, is the postponement doctrine of the kingdom of God. This indiscriminate futurism has caused great damage and robbed the gospel of its power in the lives of believers for years. John the Baptist and Jesus both clearly identified the kingdom with the era of the Holy Spirit. At no time anywhere in Scripture, was the coming of the kingdom made conditional on a Jewish response or event. What more effective strategy could the enemy use than to have Christians believe they should be in passive waiting mode? Has our failure to proclaim a full and accurate gospel of the kingdom, left nations untouched, still plagued by disease, famine and corruption, despite decades of "evangelism"? An eschatology of victory awaits a victorious church, that engages with the Holy Spirit in this present apostolic season. Creation has been waiting in eager expectation for the manifestation of the sons of God. What are the sons waiting for? Are you ready to respond? In this book Kobus Swart resolutely confronts the erroneous doctrinal stronghold of eschatology. For centuries the church has been imprisoned and restrained in fulfilling its governmental mandate because of inaccurate interpretations of the end times. This is an invaluable resource in identifying and unveiling deceptive eschatological ideologies and presenting a more accurate understanding of the end of the age. Thamo Naidoo, River of Life Ministries, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Kobus Swart has been in full time ministry since 1974, and is the founder of the Bizweni Community Church in Somerset West, near Cape Town, South Africa, where he and his family live. From this apostolic resource base he leads a ministry team serving believers both locally and in other nations.

This book was released on 2018-11-25 with total page 400 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This commentary on the book of Revelation is from a Reformed Orthodox Idealistic and Futuristic point of view. Previously I have wrestled with different Preterism and Redirectionalism views. However, once I fully understood salvation from the Reformed perspective the Lord saw fit to give me better understanding of the book of Revelation and Eschatology. Previously I was under the belief of OSAS Charles Stanley heresy. Concerning the eschatological perspective: We know that the Lord promised the seven churches in Revelation that He was coming to them, and that the faithful churches would remain. Thus His word was fulfilled. Yet, the resurrection change of 1 Cor. 15 for the living did not happen as far as they could tell. This means that the second coming is now in the present idealistically while we wait. Therefore, we sanctify ourselves and the church for when He shall appear. When He comes He will make an end of sin, our sin nature forever, and pain and death will end

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What if the commonly held beliefs concerning the Antichrist are mistaken? The Antichrist and the Second Coming looks at the Antichrist and the Second Advent of Christ from a preterist (i.e., past fulfillment) perspective and provides a unified interpretation of the little horn, the prince to come, the king of the North, the man of lawlessness, and the beast. This is the second in a two volume set on the Antichrist; it focuses on the book of Revelation. This edition stands on its own and is recommended reading even if you have not read the first volume (which focuses on Daniel and 2 Thessalonians). McKenzie shows how the Antichrist was ultimately a spiritual ruler from the abyss (Rev. 11:7) that worked through Titus in his three-and-a-half-year destruction of the Jewish nation (AD 67-70; cf. Dan. 9:26). This spirit of Antichrist was about to come out of the abyss in the first century (Rev. 17:8 NASB) and was destroyed by the Second Advent of Jesus in AD 70 (a spiritual event). Continue reading to see how McKenzie convincingly makes the biblical case for this fascinating and controversial position, and what it means for us today. Dr. Duncan McKenzie is a licensed psychologist (Ph.D. in psychology) who lives in Los Angeles, California. He has been studying Bible prophecy for the past twenty-five years and has been researching and writing this two volume set for the last twelve years.

This book was released on 2019-10-17 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Wei Hsien Wan builds on the work of David Horrell and Travis Williams for his argument that the letter of 1 Peter engages in a subtle, calculated form of resistance to Rome, that has often gone undetected. Whilst previous discussion of the topic has remained largely focused on the letter's stance toward specific Roman institutions, such as the emperor, household structures, and the imperial cults, Wan takes the conversation beyond these confines and examines 1 Peter's critique of the Roman Empire in terms of its ideology or worldview. Using the work of James Scott to conceptualize ideological resistance against domination, Wan considers how the imperial cults of Anatolia and 1 Peter offered distinct constructions of time and space-that is, how they envisioned reality differently. Insofar as these differences led to divergent ways of conceiving the social order, they acquired political power and generated potential for conflict. Wan thus argues that 1 Peter confronts Rome on a cosmic scale with its alternative construal of time and space, and examines the evidence that the Petrine author consciously, if cautiously, interrogated the imperial imagination at its most foundational levels, and set forth in its place a theocentric, Christological understanding of the world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus is coming soon, for all signs point to His arrival...again. The Last Days are upon us...again. The Great Tribulation is about to start...again. We will see the Lord coming in clouds of glory, for we are the last generation...again. Even before William Miller pronounced these kinds of tidings for 1843, and when it didn’t occur, he assured his followers it would happen on October 22, 1844; this refrain was common from Christians down throughout the ages. However, since the time of Miller, and especially since 1948, when the nation of Israel was given birth, the chorus of Christian voices proclaiming End-Times and Last-Days is a constant message. The problem, all those who have preached this since 70AD, have been wrong, always, 100% of the time. In the Revelation of Jesus, given to Saint John, he assures the seven Churches the time was near, it was in fact, at hand. The letter closes with the assurance of that fact, the Lord was coming soon, for Jesus states: “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:20). So, that leaves us with two perplexing and bewildering conclusions. Jesus was wrong about His soon coming, and those who preach this, have also been preaching a tall tale, a cock-and-bull story. However, the early Christians did not believe what is being taught across today's pulpits concerning this teaching. They knew those events would happen in their lifetime, not 2,000 years in the future, they took Jesus at His word, and it saved their lives. In this book, you will find the doctrine believed by early Christians, and the reason the modern Last Days doctrine has always been wrong, and how it was fulfilled. You will also find the message taught by Jesus, and presented throughout the Holy Scriptures, hope and victory for Christ’s Church.
